The McCarty Soapbar features a pair of soapbar single coil pickups specially designed and voiced by Seymour Duncan to the specs of our R&D department. Some soapbars compromise strength to achieve certain goals; these pickups do not. They aren't humbuckers, but they sure sound good. With the definition, robustness and thick punch of the original soapbar single coils that defined the sound of both rock and roll and combo jazz guitars in the 50's and 60's.This is an excellent example of a McCarty Soapbar.
