Weighing 7.7 lbs and measuring 8.27 x 2.6 x 12.2-''es including the internal power supply, the Ashdown Labs Little Giant 1000 will fit in a gig-bag pocket yet outputs an amazing 1050-watts of bass power!Though tiny, the Ashdown Labs Little Giant 1000 packs a range of serious bass amp features including switchable active or passive bass guitar inputs, 7-band semi-parametric EQ with adjustable centre frequencies and boost or cut for precision tone shaping, Deep switch to boost about +15dB at 50Hz for serious low end, Shape switch for pre-set EQ boosting lows and highs while cutting lower mids , plus an EQ in/out switch, an input level control and meter, output level control and mains power switch. The rear panel of the Little Giant 1000 contains a balance DI on an XLR switchable Pre EQ or Post EQ & Post effects output for connecting to a mic input on a mixing desk for direct injection into a PA or for recording, FX send and return or external signal processing gear, unbalanced Line output, Line input for mixing other gear into the Little Giant, and Speakon speaker outputs. The two Speakon outputs are driven independently by 2 500-watt output stages. Each Speakon can run into a 4-ohm speaker cab for maximum output. |
