Much more portable than the 4 x 12 cab, this 2 x 12 cab gives regular gigging players something more manageable yet still capable of packing plenty of punch when your tube amp is cranked through. Featured here is the Artisan 2x12 model, which may possibly turn out to be the most popular due to its portability and excellent tone... Rated at 120 watts into 16 Ohms, this cabinet is expertly finished in black leatherette vinyl using finger jointed birch plywood for the basic constuction of the cabinet (just like all other Blackstar models). Internally, the Artisan 212 uses heavy gauge wire and is driven by two Celestion Vintage 30 full-range loudspeakers. The weight of the Artisan 212 is 21 kilos, which is much more portable than the 4x12 option which weighs in at a lumpy 40 kilos. Dimensions are 715 x 569 x 263 mm.
