Originaly produced between 1972 to 1981, this was Fenders attempt at catering for the popularity of heavy rock. Using Seth lover designed humbuckers rather than there traditional single coils and gibson style circuitry. Failing to draw customers away from Gibsons Les Paul Model, it was discontinued in 1981 but a recent resurgence in popularity promted Fender to reissue the model
This however, is a fine original version of the guitar that all the indie kids a using. Features wear and tear in all the right places and sounds as sweet as it looks, if you want a telecaster with more balls - this could be just the ticket.
