The Ibanez RGR465M is a limited edition spot production electric guitar for 2010. The Ibanez RGR465M features the classic Ibanez RG basswood body with a reverse matching colour headstock and inlays. The Ibanez RG465M is loaded with a Dimarzio D-Activator in the bridge position and a Dimarzio Air Norton S in the neck. The Ibanez Wizard II maple neck guarantees the Ibanez RGR465M electric guitar plays like a dream and the double locking Edge III tremolo bridge keeps tuning in check. The DiMarzio Air Norton S humbucker is the Strat replacement version of the full-size DiMarzio Air Norton. It's warm sounding, very well balanced, and has the same unique tonal characteristics as the original Air Norton. The DiMarzio Air Norton S pickup is also a very good bridge pickup for all types of rock. Its combination of medium output and harmonic bite are very effective for single-note soloing as well as chords. The Dimarzio D Activator Bridge has an enriched harmonic quality and the notes want to sing. The D Activator Bridge pickup was designed to eliminate the sterile edginess commonly associated with active pickups.
